MAZDUTIDE
Compound Overview
Mazdutide is a synthetic, long-acting investigational peptide designed as a dual glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor and glucagon receptor (GCGR) agonist. Engineered through peptide sequence optimization and lipidation technology to extend its circulating half-life, Mazdutide has become an important research compound for studying the coordinated effects of incretin and glucagon receptor signaling in metabolic physiology.
Researchers have investigated Mazdutide for its interactions with the GLP-1 receptor (GLP-1R) and glucagon receptor (GCGR), enabling experimental evaluation of intracellular signaling pathways involved in energy metabolism, glucose regulation, mitochondrial function, and endocrine physiology. Dual receptor agonism provides a valuable model for exploring receptor cross-talk, peptide pharmacology, and the physiological consequences of simultaneous incretin and glucagon pathway activation.
As an investigational peptide, Mazdutide supports laboratory research involving metabolic biology, endocrinology, peptide engineering, receptor pharmacology, and structure-activity relationship studies in controlled experimental settings.

Laboratory Handling
Store refrigerated immediately upon receipt to preserve peptide stability. For extended laboratory storage, freezing at −20°C or below is recommended. Protect the lyophilized peptide from moisture, excessive heat, and direct light. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles following reconstitution, as these may reduce peptide stability and biological integrity. Allow the vial to equilibrate to room temperature before opening to minimize condensation, and always use sterile laboratory equipment together with appropriate aseptic laboratory techniques. This product is intended for use only by qualified research personnel operating in controlled laboratory environments.
